Which type of Novaform mattress do you need?
Novaform mattresses are synonymous with quality, so it is not surprising to see their sales and popularity skyrocket. However, with eight different mattresses in three different categories (Plush, Medium, Firm) it may be difficult to ascertain which is the right choice for you, so we’ve put together a little guide that will hopefully help you to make the correct decision when it comes to your new memory foam mattress.
Before we delve into those important details, let’s have a look at who Novaform are and why choosing the correct mattress is so important. Novaform, as you might have guessed, is a company that manufactures memory foam mattresses, mattress toppers, furniture, pillows and mats. The quality of their products is second to none due to the various types of premium memory foam they use in their mattresses. Each mattress is constructed from several layers (usually three or four) and Novaform have created a range of mattresses that will suit everyone regardless of their circumstances and needs during sleep.
If you didn’t already know, you actually spend a third of your life in bed. Sadly, many people don’t pay much attention to which mattress they have and will often choose a cheaper option because they view it as unimportant. This couldn’t be further from the truth. A mattress will impact upon everything – most importantly your health. If you have a poor quality mattress then it’ll not support your body correctly, which could lead to health problems down the line. In addition, you’ll not get enough sleep and we all know how terrible it feels to be deprived of quality rest. It is highly advisable to purchase a mattress based on what is right for you and your body, rather than purely on price. Don’t forget, a good mattress will last you 20 years and we cannot emphasise enough how wise it is to make an investment in your health and future by purchasing a quality memory foam mattress.
Do you sleep on your side? If (like me) you sleep on your side then the best choices are softer mattresses such as the Altabella or Novaform Plush. Both of these mattresses offer soft and soft-medium ratings respectively, which is ideal for those that rest on their side during sleep. Why? These types of mattresses offer slightly less support than a firmer mattress and when you sleep on your side you require less support than other positions. Don’t worry though, you’ll still be adequately stable and secure even if it does feel like you’re ‘sinking in’ to the mattress!
Do you sleep on your back? When sleeping on your back you require more support than if you were on your side, so a medium, medium-firm or firm mattress is the best option. For ‘back sleepers’ we’d recommend the Deluxe Comfort or the Bella Venta models, although if you’re seeking something firmer then Novaform Firm will do the job nicely.
Do you sleep with someone? All Novaform mattresses provide a degree of motion reduction so in reality it wouldn’t matter all that much which one you selected. They’ll stop most movements (within reason) meaning both parties should have a restful nights sleep. The only thing that you need to take into account is the positions you and your partner sleep in. If you both sleep on your back or both sleep on your side then take the advice from above, however if one sleeps on their side and one on their back then a medium to medium-firm mattress would be a wise choice.
